Through This Ministry You Are There!
Since 2019 Saskatchewan Social Services has been slowly replacing the Saskatchewan Assistance Program (SAP) and the Transitional Employment Allowance (TEA) with a new program the Saskatchewan Income Support (SIS). The two older programs are to be discontinued August 31st, 2021. RAPM staff are seeing increasing requests to help clients transfer over to SIS.
Your donations enable our staff and volunteers in their efforts to assist those living in poverty. Much of our funding comes from donors like you!
We are so grateful for your interest and look forward to having you on board with us as we continue to work towards a poverty-free Saskatchewan!
- Special thanks to Knox-Metropolitan United Church for the free office space provided for the Anti-Poverty Ministry over the years.
- Specials thanks to the G. Murray & Edna Forbes Foundation for participation in on-going funding through the South Saskatchewan Foundation.
- Special thanks to all the individuals whose donations enabled the Anti-Poverty Ministry to help over 2000 cases last year. In addition, each year the Anti-Poverty Ministry trains 5 – 6 interns / practicums – our advocates for the future.
